We don’t treat dog aggression. We treat the underlying cause (fear, anxiety etc)
Positive Associations
In dog training, creating positive associations with things that used to be negative to a dog can greatly reduce fear.

Chipper has been getting out in the world a bit and he’s learning there’s a LOT to take in! We’ve been patient and giving him the space and time he needs to adjust and we know with more exposure, these outings should be easier and more enjoyable for him!

Our second B&T of the day...Koa! Koa is a five month old Cane Corso pup and is with us for three weeks💪. He is sweet as sugar but his fam wants to get a head start with his training. If you know Cane Corsos, they are big and powerful! Left unchecked, unintentional accidents can happen ie; knocking someone down, pulling someone down, etc. Kudos to Koa's family!

Welcome Duke! Duke is a one year old GSD and will be with us for three weeks. Duke left his litter at six weeks so, he missed out on the final few weeks with mom which is critical. Duke is very unsure of new things and people and can react, lunge and retreat. So, guess what's on tap for Mr.Duke?? New things and peeps😉.

You gotta check out Mr. Onyx working around Laika today! He’s learning to have a different mindset around other dogs and it shows! He’s choosing to take his focus off his trigger and rather focus on his handler! This is HUGE for Onyx who has previously shown us a very intense level of fixation on other dogs since coming to us. We hope exercises like this will only continue to get less stressful for Onyx as he puts more and more trust in his handlers! So proud of this guy! 👏❤️

Gunnar is a big boy, and though he’s a friendly guy, he doesn’t like having his nails done and has had to be sedated in the past! Muzzle conditioning will help out with those pesky nail trims for everyone involved! We take this process slowly as to only make positive associations with wearing the muzzle.
