Well, we just sent a another puppy home after a two week board and train. Due to her size still, we did not train her on the e-Collar yet and she still knocked her pick up session out of the park! This brings me to my main point about how important puppy training is. I mentioned this in a recent Facebook post about her but training a young puppy is like working with soft clay – you can easily mold that puppy’s behavior into what you want now, and how you want it to have as it becomes an adult! All this takes consistency as well. We are not ones that believe you can’t teach an old dog new tricks however, more effort goes into training an older dog something new other than the bad or otherwise unwanted behavior that it has been patterned to for so long. So if you are in the market for a puppy, find reputable puppy training in your area. You won’t regret it!
